Pasquale Marcello Falcone (MA MSc PhD) is an economist with a strong interest in policy analysis applied to sustainable transitions. He is Assistant Professor (tenured) of Economic Policy at the Department of Business and Economics %u2013 University of Naples %u201CParthenope%u201D (Italy). He received a MSc in Economics (2013) at University of Leicester (UK) a PhD in Economics (2014) and a MA in Business Economics (2010) both at the University of Foggia (Italy). His research interests span from Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development to Sustainability Transition Theory. Recently he is exploring the mechanisms through which transitions towards a bio-based economy can be intertwined with socio-economic and policy aspects from the perspective of circular bio-economy. His work regularly appears in prestigious and highly impacted innovation and environmental economics journals.

Short Bio

I received my PhD in Economic Theory atUniversity of Foggia Dpt. Of Economics in 2014 and I%u2019m now a Postdoc Researcher at “La Sapienza” %u2013 University of Rome. My research interests range from Game Theory to Transition Economics and Sustainable Development. Recently I have been working at the interface between the sustainable development and the current economic crisis e.g. the impact of the crisis on the transition to bio-based economies. My publications appeared on some international journals such Journal of Cleaner Production Economy of Region and others.
