| Short Bio | Dr Champion%u2019s research has resulted in new models and tools to support end-user engagement in the design and management of large complex systems including critical infrastructures. She also explores the impact of technology on society. Her current work is focused on how to design effective regulation and governance for complex distributed systems such as blockchains and distributed ledgers. Her aim is to design democracy into information infrastructures to help facilitate equal access to resources overcome inequality and poverty and to prevent unscrupulous value extraction. |
