Sampsa is Associate Professor of Co-Design in Aalto University Helsinki Finland. His research focus is on role of users in sociotechnical change particularly in longitudinal studies of designer-user relations in technology projects. His research lies in the intersection between science & technology studies innovation studies and design research. Sampsa has published about 50 full lenght articles and five books the latest being %u201CThe new production of users: Changing innovation communities and involvement strategies%u201D (with Elgaard Jensen and Oudshoorn Routledge 2016).
