Call for STRN Steering Group member (self-) nomination

The STRN Steering Group (SG) is seeking 5 members to support the network’s development.

SG members provide advice to the Board and also take on specific tasks such as organizing workshops, leading thematic or working groups, or fostering exchange with other research communities. For a list of current SG members, click here.

This is a call for (self-)nominations for election as SG members for a two-year term from Summer 2026 to 2028. Every STRN scholar is eligible to apply, including former/current SG members. Two spots are reserved for new candidates (one early-career researcher and one mid-senior-career researcher).

In the composition of the SG, we strive for a wide variety of views and people (e.g., in research approaches and backgrounds, gender, and nationality, as well as career stage). To increase our diversity, we particularly encourage women, early-career researchers, and scholars from the Global South to apply.
