| Short Bio | Ankit R. Patel is currently associated with the University of Minho, Portugal. He serves in various positions at international conferences, like track chair for the IEEE ITEC 2023 and 2024; DIA Chair for the ACM COMPASS 2024; associate chair for the ACM IMX 2023; co-chair for the ACM AutomotiveUI 2023; and proceedings chair for the IEEE e-Science 2023. He also serves as an associate editor for the EAI-endorsed Transactions on Smart Cities; and Journal of Social Economics Research; and editorial board member for the Journal of Sustainable Urban Mobility. He received the best poster paper award at the 2019 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS), Macau. He also serves as a reviewer in many journals, including Transport, Journal of Transport and Health (Elsevier), Transportation Research Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behavior, and conferences like CHI, ozCHI, INTERACT, TRB, NordiCHI, MuC, and ITS America.
